AARAJ broke swiftly to take the lead on the inside, widened lead in the stretch, clearly best. RUSSIAN HAMMER rated in the two path, angled out five wide in the turn to improve position for the place award. COLOR FIELD trailed early, angled out six wide to move into a competitive position but was unable to close. THE HEIGHTS rated inside, made no bid, no factor. CARBONITE rated in the five path, failed to menace. MILLIBAR stalked the pace from the three path but was through after half.
