LUNAR UNIT saved ground pursuing through the backstretch and faltered. ANNIE'S HOPE , bumped and pinched back leaving the gate, lost ground five wide after recovering, chased outside foes heading to the far turn then faltered. WHAT'S TO DO angled out early then edged up leaving the five eighths, clipped heels, stumbled causing her rider to lose the irons when trying to work through a seam nearing the half mile pole. There was a stewards' inquiry into the run of WHAT'S TO DO heading to the half mile pole. No action was deemed necessary.
