Chart notes
AMERICAN CAUSE was sent up soon after the break to contest the pace, got into a battle between rivals soon into the backstretch, carried that fight while under a hustling ride into the lane, shook clear under a drive past the three sixteenths then eagerly widened while kept to task. T LAW had inside speed and vied inside a pair of rivals from early backstretch to the quarter pole, could not quite kick on with the winner past the three sixteenths, held well to the wire and was clear for the place. MOONRISE DRIVE steadied off foes nearing the backstretch, stalked between rivals, shifted out for the drive and kept on with effort. BYWORD was lightly steadied entering the backstretch, saved ground within range through the backstretch run, chased the embattled leaders into the stretch but came up empty. CUCUY rushed up five wide nearing the backstretch and joined the pace fray, vied outside rivals, forced the issue three deep from the far turn to the quarter pole then faded in the final furlong. RAMESSES , lightly bumped early, saved ground leaving the far turn, angled out but lacked a rally. MY LAST ESCAPADE , four wide into the first turn, forced the pace three wide and between runners past the five eighths, failed to kick on into the far turn and tired.
