Chart notes
IMPERIAL KING hustled up inside through the chute, under constant urging around the bend, all out drive inside foe leaving the sixteenth marker, went clear late. GOLD FIBER pressed the pace three deep into the turn, blistering speed around the bend, inched forward leaving the furlong marker, no match late for inside rival, chased on well clear for the place. FLY FLY AWAY bumped hard at the start, very slow into stride, rail bid into the lane, improved placing through the final sixteenth. CAJUN FUN chased off the pace leaving the quarter pole, shifted inside for the stretch run, went by the faders through the wire. GOLDEN ARM broke a step slow, shuffled off heels leaving the chute, never recovered, came up empty. BURTON WAY pressed the pace between runners to the turn, awkward step lost balance nearing the quarter pole, weakened stretch. BESOTTED trailed throughout.
