Chart notes
TOWN'S WARRIOR rated along the inside, blocked just past the quarter pole to the three sixteenths pole, split rivals two deep near the eighth pole and surged clear under steady pressure. MITROPANOS stalked the pace, raced three wide near the quarter pole, was no match for the winner but kept on to narrowly secure the place position. WHITE SERIES prompt the early leader from the inside and weakened through the drive. SUNSHINE JOHNNY raced mid pack early, was four to five wide into the upper stretch and had no final winning bid. CHUCK ADAMS set a pressured early pace two deep and weakened through the drive. MALIBU WARRIOR was allowed to settle early, saved ground and never threatened. WE'RE EVEN raced four wide near the three sixteenths pole and lacked a bid.
