Chart notes
WHY KENNY WHY was never far back on the inside, rallied in the stretch on the rail, closed determinedly and was along in time. GRAY TORMENTOR was well placed throughout, rallied in mid stretch, drew even late and just missed. COLORFUL LAD dueled on the early lead, remained clear in mid stretch, weakened slightly late. NATIONAL STORY tracked three wide and needed more late. WEEKEND RETREAT allowed to settle, failed to menace. PAYMASTER GENERAL contested the pace and weakened in the stretch.
