Chart notes
HEART LIGHT was allowed to settle early, rallied on the far turn three wide, drew off in the stretch under left handed urging while lugging in. CLEOMENES was unhurried early, rallied through the stretch on the rail, could not gain late on the winner but was clearly second best. RIGHT TRAPPE set the pace for three quarters, then gradually tired. PEARLINTHEROUGH trailed until mid stretch, passed tired ones. HALF BIRTHDAY chased the speed for three quarters, gave way. MAY MAYS CASTLE had good position on the inside, then gave way.
