Chart notes
LORD I WONDER showed the way in the two path, drew off entering the lane and widened under moderate urging. PROMISEMEANEMPIRE chased two wide and between horses, tipped to the four path in upper stretch, gained place at the furlong grounds and was no match for the winner. BETTE DAVIS pressed outside of the eventual winner and from the three path, proved no match nearing the lane, then faded yet held show from an inner foe late. CLASSY'N CONNECTED brushed with an outer rival leaving the gate, advanced inside of foes with eleven sixteenths to go, tracked into the turn, chased into the lane, vied for show in the final sixteenth but was denied. CANDY BAR trailed in the three path, entered the lane in the five path and failed to factor. NOSLEEPTILBROOKLYN brushed with an inner rival at the start, laid off of the pace in the four path, got floated to the six path into the lane and tired.
