Chart notes
AWESOME PRINCE chased in the three path, was ridden in the four path around the turn, took aim while floating out to the seven path at the top of the lane, got herded out in the final furlong, but drew past an inner foe in the final strides. AIM FOR THE CORK vied for the lead in the four path, took command around the turn, dug in from the six path entering the stretch, but drifted out in the final furlong, and got nabbed by an outer foe in the closing stages. JOHN'S PROMISE raced off the pace in the two path, swung from the four path turning into the lane, and kept on. PROM KNIGHT dueled for the lead in the two path but yielded in the final furlong. EL DE CHIREL tracked in the four path early but weakened.
