Chart notes
GO OTTO GO sped to the lead at the start and led the way in opening stages, vied inside of FLEET OF FLAGS still unasked around the turn, cut the corner, given cue and shook free turning for home, widened advantage and remained clear under steady encouragement. DAGGER RANCH raced off the early pace, saved ground then shifted two wide in the upper stretch, finished with good response and closed the gap on the winner. FLEET OF FLAGS was forwardly placed soon after the start, vied outside of eventual winner around the turn, was no match turning for home, ran on then flattened mid-stretch while remaining well clear over the rest. RUN FIRE RUN raced outside in range in the early going, failed to progress under pressure around the turn and steadily faded. FRIENDLY SPIRIT was not too far back in opening stages, weakened near the inside late on the backstretch, came three wide into the lane and continued to tire. KOSARI chased the top pair three wide and retreated in the lane.
