Chart notes
HIJACK THE PARTY broke well to take command from the gate, quickly opened a clear lead, widened the advantage in upper stretch and was unthreatened throughout. MANCHESTER stalked the winner into the turn from four wide, made a mild bid on the bend, was unable to cut into the leader's margin and finished willingly in the lane as second best. SPELLED WELL slow early to be the distant trailer and made a strong belated rally in the lane to be gaining in the final three-sixteenths. EL GAVILAN hustled early to track the leader, chased through the turn in an early drive and failed to maintain the bid fading in the stretch.
