Chart notes

AL REICHERT sat in striking range while four wide, swung five wide at the quarter pole, and won driving outside. UNCHARACTERISTIC shifted out four wide leaving the backstretch, roused at the head of the stretch and was up in time to score place honours. RIVERSIDE sat in a striking position, moved up to challenge the front, then gained the lead entering the stretch, and weakened in the final sixteenth. ITSALLGOODMAN fanned five wide into the opening turn, was given his cue at the quarter pole, but was outkicked. HANK OLLIE sat in range while three to four wide, rallied three wide into the final turn, and yielded in the final sixteenth. SKIPPER'S PRIDE chased the leaders entering the final turn, and lacked a rally. TICKET TO THE TOP sent for speed then crossed over on the field, set the pace from the three path, and left nothing in reserve. ARREST lacked a solid bid. SILENT RUNNER raced in close quarters early from along the rail, and was outrun.
