Chart notes

KIKIS GOLDEN TOUCH sent for speed early, set the pace outside of WILLING TO TRY, responded to a challenge from BRYNN'S DREAM entering the stretch, lost the advantage and dug in gamely in the final strides to win the nod. BRYNN'S DREAM encountered traffic leaving the backstretch, roused at the quarter pole, gained a slim advantage midstretch under encouragement, and battled on to the wire but was outnodded for the win. MISS HOTTIE stalked from the four wide, rallied four to five wide entering the stretch, and gave way late. TEMPERED STORM show early speed outside, was four wide leaving the backstretch, and lacked a closing response. ONEMOREFORTHEROAD bid belatedly. DELTA SUNRISE chased wide in the early stages and faded in the stretch. RUN MYA RUN offered little. MAKALEI BEACH was outrun. WILLING TO TRY moved up inside to contested the early pace, and left nothing in reserve.
