Chart notes
LATIN REBEL took the early lead to save ground in the first turn in the two path, continued to lead up the backstretch on the inside, drove clear in the stretch. SURFIN' M settled behind the pace on the inside, angled out three wide in the far turn to move into contention but could not catch the leader. ZEVON raced off the pace in the three path, moved to the inside of the far turn then angled out four wide at the top of the lane to improve for show award. KALADIN rated off the pace four wide, found best stride late to improve position. ANALYST reluctant to load the gate, trailed early in the six path, angled in to the rail at the top of the lane, improved position in the stretch. MY LUCKY ACE pressed the pace from the two path, weakened in the final furlong. PHIL'S ON THE RUN rated five wide, failed to menace. SPEZIA'S SON raced off the pace on the inside, passed tiring rival in the stretch, no factor. KITTEN'S PLOY stalked the pace from the three path, retreated after half.
