Chart notes
SETTLER'S COVE saved ground setting the pace, responded when headed by CALY BALL nearing the eighth pole and came back again to proved best in a stiff drive. CALY BALI was forwardly placed while racing two-wide, moved u- to gained a slight lead nearing the eighth pole, dueled with SETTLER'S COVE from that point but wasn't good enough in a game effort. PARKER'S FIFTEEN was allowed to settle, came four-wide into the stretch and finished well for third in a steady effort. ENGLISH MEADOW saved ground while being unhurried, came two-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. PINK SOLITAIRE settled in the middle of the field while racing three-wide but lacked a rally when asked. UNION HARBOR was close-up for a half mile racing the inside and tired.
