THE BOSS SOSS had good speed from the break without being asked, stalked CYPRESS GOLD to the top of the stretch, then responded when set down, edged clear at the furlong pole, and pulled away in the final yards. GIVEMEASECOND lost footing at the break then was held up near the back and kept to the inside through the early stages, kept mostly to the inside through the turn, then rallied four wide to gt up for the place. CYPRESS GOLD easily made the front on the first turn, got some pressure from THE BOSS SOSS as the field turned down the backstretch, tried to quicken the pace passing the half-mile pole and maintained a slight advantage through the far turn, went to an all-out drive passing the quarter pole, battled gamely but was outfinished late while clear for third. RAZOR CREST settled two to three wide well off the pace, launched a bid from the three furlong pole, bid four wide at the top of the stretch, finished well but was outkicked in the final yards. TITANIUM DEAL raced mid-pack to the half, steadied off heels in a couple of spots early on the backstretch run, got a clear run into the stretch turning for home but was unable to quicken with the rest and was outfinished. YOCKEY'S DRIVETHRU veered out sharply at the start, then settled at the rear, dropped far back then passed a couple of rivals in the stretch far behind the rest. MY DAD'S GUITAR was impeded by CYPRESS GOLD at the break then was hustled from the start, settled inside just behind the pace, was boxed in looking for racing room on the far turn, then was unable to rally when clear and weakened in the stretch. CONNECTIQUE tracked mid-pack two to three wide then moved up to challenge the leaders on the far turn, came under heavy pressure passing the quarter pole and was not a factor in the late stages.
