Chart notes
THE GYPSY COWBOY chased from inside, tipped out three wide under urging on the far turn, challenged two wide entering the lane, took over quickly in upper stretch and drew clear late. TOPPERS AT SEASIDE dueled from inside, cleared with three furlongs remaining, came under threat from THE GYPSY COWBOY entering the lane, lost command in upper stretch, stayed on through the final furlong and finished a clear second. POWER PLAY showed speed three deep into the first turn in the four path, angled to the two path dueling for command, fought to the far turn, lost touch with the leader at the three-eighths pole, chased two wide then along the rail at the quarter pole, churned on down the lane and held third. MONGOLIAN GOLD trailed on the inside to the quarter pole, moved to the two path, split foes at the top of the stretch and failed to threaten. HONOR THE CAT chased from off the pace in the two path, found the rail midway around the far turn and proved no menace. JUMPER CABLES showed brief speed between rivals into the first turn, took a stalking position three then two wide on the first turn, dropped back in the three path on the second bend and tired down the lane.
