AXTON followed the early pacesetter, advanced three wide through the turn, took control stretch and drew off as an easy winner. KNICKS STORY was reserved early, raced along the inside into the turn, angled out, offered no late rally and was second best. PERLIANO tracked the early pace, raced four wide and was empty. GRAPNEL set a clear early pace, raced off the rail into the turn and weakened late.
