Chart notes
ANITA'S VISION stalked the pace two wide to the far turn, moved to challenge for the lead midway through the far turn, found a resilient foe in CUTE DINERO QUEEN, edged clear of that stubborn rival in mid-stretch and held to the wire. CUTE DINERO QUEEN made the front from the break, dictated reasonable fractions while traveling well, dug in when confronted by ANITA'S VISION at the quarter pole, battled gamely down the stretch but came up short in the end. LIGHTENING MO was always close up, lacked a wining kick and finished evenly. PAT HAND GIRL was last into the first turn and chased inside through the first turn and down the backstretch, made a mild bid staying to the inside through the turn and into the home stretch but was unable to threaten. AVERI EVER AFTER was allowed to settle from the break and raced near the rear of the field to the half-mile marker, responded when asked to quicken at that point, advanced into contention on the turn, but could not sustain the run in the stretch and was unable to improve.
