Chart notes
WAR MUSIC hustled up out of the gate and held a slim lead heading into the first turn, cleared command in the opening quarter and set the uncontested pace up the backstretch, held firm hand ridden around the far turn, came two wide into the upper stretch, dug in under right handed pressure, held rivals at bay, shown the whip late while confidently handled and held sway. LEUCADIA was forwardly placed around the first turn and stalked the pace near the inside up the backstretch, came under a ride near the quarter pole, hustled along two to three wide into the stretch, sustained a solid bid but had to settle for second best. KIRBY KAYE settled three to four wide through early stages, came under a ride along the outside around the far turn, kept under firm handling into the lane and got a nose up for show. GRAND PRAIRIE GAL tracked the early pace along the inside, coaxed along the rail going by the quarter pole, saved ground turning for home, ran on in contention, chased evenly in final stages and got nipped for show. MARINA'S GOLD was forwardly around the first turn, continued to sit just off the pacesetter up the backstretch, came under a ride past the half mile marker, flattened past mid-point around the final turn and steadily weakened in the lane. SLICK CITY GIRL had no response and trailed throughout.
