Chart notes
HEY NAY NAY (IRE) sent clear, moved over to the inside, met the bid from BRIGANTE at the quarter pole, maintained a short lead to the eighth pole, then drew clear from the runner-up. BRIGANTE was closest in pursuit in the early going, bid two wide at the quarter pole, kept the pressure on into the final furlong, got turned away by the winner but was clearly second best. WON FOR LOU stalked from inside, steered out in upper stretch and weakened. MO HOLLAND DRIVE chased three deep into the turn, moved into the two path at the quarter pole, moved back out a bit into the lane and also weakened. ROOKIE NUMBERS saved ground from off the pace and could not rally when called upon. DOING TIME raced outside a rival out of range, took the turn two wide, asked three wide approaching the stretch and failed to respond. LEE'S BABY BOY trailed under coaxing up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and proved no menace. EL PRECIOSO chased under coaxing early, raced between rivals into the turn, came two wide into the stretch and faded.
