Chart notes
HUNT MASTER brushed lightly with the outside runner at the start, stalked just off the early leader, advanced willingly on the second turn taking the lead outside the quarter pole, moved clear heading into upper stretch and was put to urging, was kept busy to the wire and held. BAIL US OUT exchanged a bump at the start, settled near mid-pack along the inside, saved ground both turns, was niggled along three furlongs out, put to more stout urging by the top of the stretch, rallied inside and got the nod for place. SWIFT DELIVERY settled last but one in the early going, switched out racing outside a rival up the backstretch, began to advance while fanning seven wide into upper stretch, was forced out a further path, rallied widest and just missed second. BREAKING ALONE trailed, saved ground on the turns, saw them all coming to the top of the stretch, angled out six then seven wide in upper stretch, rallied between foes but was too little too late. GAS ME UP settled outside a foe mid-pack two to three wide, was encouraged along past the three-eighths, floated five wide into upper stretch, ran on evenly. LAST DAWN exchanged a bump at the start, was inside a foe in the second flight off the leading pair, shifted out past the quarter pole coming into upper stretch four wide and within range of the lead but lacked the needed late kick. NO MORE OPTIONS had incidental contact at the start, stalked from outside a foe in the second flight two to three wide, failed to rally. MAAKWA was quick to take the lead, moved clear and shifted in, dictated terms near the rail, was overtaken late on the far turn, gave way in the stretch.
