Chart notes
STATE SCHOOL SMART sped to a slim lead at the start, led the way up the backstretch, continued on top under a bit of pressure from SOUTHFORK around the turn, shook off rival still in hand past the quarter pole, came two wide into the upper stretch, came under right handed pressure a furlong out and held clear. IRISH COAST tracked the pace in opening stages, angled to inside mid-way up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, angled out entering the upper stretch, drifted out under left handed urging, straightened under a right handed drive, sustained a solid bid and cleared second best. SOUTHFORK was forwardly placed soon after the start, sat just off the pacesetter up the backstretch, applied pressure to the leader around the turn, could not remain in touch with eventual winner past the quarter pole, sustained a three wide bid down the lane and cleared the rest. BILDERBERG was sluggish away from the gate, tossed head slightly strides out and dropped back to trail the field, continued well back while saving ground and passed tiring foes in the lane. SWIFT KEY raced off the pace, swung four wide into the drive and had no response. LOW ON FUNDS raced in contention up the backstretch, came up empty around the turn and continued to tire in the drive.
