Chart notes
ROCKIN THE DAD BOD was allowed to settle three to four wide up the backstretch, edged a bid closer late on the turn, swung four paths wide and given cue entering the top of the lane, steadily edged up closer along the outside, was confidently handled in the final sixteenth and swept by late. REDNECKERTHANYOU was away in good order, quickly cleared and crossed over to the inside, vied inside of JUSTA STREAKIN around the turn, got headed for the lead, dug back in gamely, took back control approaching the furlong marker, remained the leader in the final sixteenth then got edged out in closing strides. PALACE GUARD tracked the pace along the inside, was ridden along the rail around the turn, shifted three wide for the drive, sustained a steady bid and secured a share. JUSTA STREAK was forwardly placed sitting just off the early leader, vied outside of REDNECKERTHANYOU around the turn, fought on into the upper stretch, could not move on with rival approaching the final furlong and flattened out. DREADPIRATEROBERTS sat off the early speed, saved ground around the turn, ran on along the inside down the lane and needed more for serious impact. SUCCESSION was sluggish away from the gate and had no early speed, saved ground entering the lane, urged up the inside, gained some ground but failed to threaten. LATE FOR LUNCH tracked the early pace, hustled along two paths wide around the turn and weakened in the lane. SHIPS ON FIRE hustled away from the gate but lacked early speed, raced off the pace, came three wide into the upper stretch and never menaced.
