Chart notes
BLUE TWELVE firmly rated early behind the pace toward the inside, three wide through the first turn when still behind the first flight, closer backstretch, quickly took over into the far turn, clear into the stretch, kept to task through the lane. COMPUTING CHAMP bobbled at the break while breaking up front, in the second flight four wide and outside the winner first turn, chased that one through the final turn, could do little with that one the final furlong, clearly second best. GOSPEL NATIVE slipped at the start to break back, continued devoid of any early foot, four wide when beginning to rally in the far turn, continued on the outside and improved to be clear of the rest, no threat to the top two. TEXOMA vied early while between horses, fell back off the lead back before a half, went evenly through the stretch. RIGHT CIDER lacked speed and was never dangerous. STRAIGHT AHEAD flashed some early foot along the inside, fell back beforfea half. VISUAL POWERHOUSE vied up front while three wide, clear before a half, gave way when headed by the winner soon after. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
