Chart notes
GATITA SUAVE stalked the pace from the fence in a clear pocket into the turn, angled around the pacesetters nearing the quarter pole, drifted six wide at the head of the lane to challenge for the lead, drifted in to the four path in upper stretch causing rivals to the inside to be a bit crowded and finished determinedly to prevail at the wire. LA CREMA unhurried in the early going to be at the rear of the field, commence a bid midway on the turn splitting rivals in the four path turning for home, was crowded by the drifting winner while never breaking stride midway down the lane and battled to the wire to just miss. ANGEL OF HARLEM prompted the pace to the turn, rallied three wide at the quarter pole, failed to get passed the leaders in upper stretch, steadied leaving the eighth pole and finished evenly. EASY SEVEN sped to the a clear lead setting a rapid tempo and weakened in upper stretch. KAGERO broke slow to give the field several lengths at the start, hustled up to the pack in the first quarter and flattened out turning for home. THE RIDER OF THE RUNNER-UP CLAIMED FOUL FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH NEARING THE EIGHTH POLE, UPON REVIEW THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGE.
