Chart notes
EXPLOSIVE LADY stalked the pace along the inside through the turn, shifted outside the leader at the top of the stretch, rallied to make the lead inside the furlong marker and finished full of run under mild right handed urging to win going away. ROSE RITA trailed down the backstretch, rallied two wide through the stretch and got up for second. THEE NEW BEGINNING made the lead shortly after the start, set the pace until deep stretch then was outfinished. MY BEST DAY EVER was in a bit tight and steadied near the nine sixteenths pole, dropped back to trail, swung wide and closed a gap late five wide. G'DAY LADY chased the pace three wide until deep stretch then faded. CLASSY LIL BETTY chased the early pace two wide and gave way on the turn.
