GOLD MEMBER sprinted clear past the wire the first time, extended that advantage onto the backstretch, rated the middle quarter, maintained daylight through the lane under steady handling. JEST FUNNY settled off the pace inside, continued to save ground, proved no match for the winner in the drive, clearly second best. LORD CREW back off the pace while racing outside into and through the first turn, continued outside through the second bend, staged a mild rally to be up late for the show, not a threat to the top two. SHAGGY EDGE chased the winner off the inside for five furlongs, had little left for the drive. COUNTY JUDGE slipped at the start to be last away, continued devoid of speed, never a serious threat. MAJOR GRIFFIN in the second flight, shuffled back after a half, trailed home. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
