Chart notes
VICENTE'S SHADOW broke out and a step slow, continued devoid of early foot while out in the strip, circled five wide through the second turn into contention, closed with good energy to be up at the wire. NINETY TWO back off the pace and the inside, advanced and challenged three wide and outside the two leaders entering the stretch, took command, led late, could not contain the winner. MOR BIG LEE vied four wide into the first turn, fell back slightly then reengaged the leader to duel into the far turn, continued to battle upper stretch, headed late by first the runner up then the winner, managed to save the show. LIMBO'S PROMISE with the early pace along the inside, fell back off the leaders after a quarter, went evenly thereafter, missed the show. TWO WORLDS with the pace while three wide past the wire the first time, dueled into and through the final turn, first to blink stretch and continued to weaken the final sixteenth. AWESOME OUTLAW set or forced the pace for three furlongs and between horses, weakened. HANS GRUBER broke back and was never involved. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
