Chart notes
ROYALLY BLUE broke a bit slowly then was steadied when pinched back by OH DARLIN leaving the starting gate, raced in the three path mid way on the turn, moved to the two path in upper stretch, took the lead inside WARDA near the sixteenth pole then drew clear under urging. WARDA sped to the early lead, stayed slightly off the rail on the turn, drifted to the four path in upper stretch and weakened. RO TOWN chased the pace outside WARDA, swung to the five path in upper stretch and weakened. DRUM ROLL circled foes three wide on the turn, had a mild move and shifted to the four path at the head of the stretch but failed to sustain the bid. OH DARLIN bore in leaving the starting gate, chased the pace between horses and weakened on the turn. BRODERIE , angled to the inner rail near the half mile pole, chased the pace and gave way.
