Chart notes
VIA DEL CORSO had speed between foes then chased the loose leader around the turn, advanced two wide and outside a rival into the lane, took over between runners near mid stretch, had his rider lose the crop a sixteenth out then edged clear through the final yards. RED RIZZLER , urged inside chasing the pace, gained along the rail and threatened inside rivals in mid stretch, kept on gamely but had to settle for second. REGAINED POWER had speed outside a pair of foes then cleared into the turn, was keyed up and opened up around the turn, wandered out to about the five path maintaining a clear lead into the stretch, continued to drift out despite right handed efforts near mid stretch and weakened. JOURNEY , four wide with early chase, lacked a rally. PONCHO ATTACK failed to keep pace and retreated leaving the far turn.
