Chart notes
SUPER JOHN set the pace and went clear while in the two path on the first turn, then was headed leaving the five sixteenths and relented nearing the quarter pole, angled off the inside nearing the furlong marker and came again to get up late to prove best under a drive. GUNS N' ROJAS stalked the pace three wide and made a two wide bid to draw clear leaving the turn but was caught late while being second best. NOLO CONTESTO bumped with a rival at the break, rated along and was three wide on the far turn and made a four wide bid off the bend but needed more late. MIDNIGHT ACT was bumped at the break, settled on the outside, then was three to two wide on the far turn but had no rally. INDIRECTLY tracked the pace on the inside and weakened. LAKE NAKURU chased the pace three to four wide and tired.
