HOLIDAY ROSE had a stalking role, deepest in the four path outside foes along the backside, began to pick up runners taking the short way on the turn at the quarter pole, was full of run having a clear path two wide inside the dueling front pair at the furlong marker and stormed past in deep stretch for the late running victory. LEONA WHITEBLAZE dueled inside with a pesky rival in the early stages, shifted to the three path between runners straightening out for home, stubbornly kept finding more down the lane clinging onto the lead but could not fend off the late charge by the winner inside in the final furlong. BROWN BUTTER SAGE battled outside for the lead down the backside, continued outside to go nose to nose up front never wavering around the bend, angled four wide in the hunt at the top of the stretch, kept on running until the wire and finished up with that solid effort to be good third at the wire. OUR STELLA tracked in the second flight outside the contesting leaders, inched closer, measuring the front duo while angling five wide turning for home but could only manage to run on gradually down the lane, closing the gap but could not improve position in deep stretch to settle on the fringes in the end. SWEET VALENTINE was slow into stride trailing on the break, made an early move on the rail at the three eighths pole reaching for more ground, closed in quickly shifting out at the quarter pole to be between foes seven wide for the drive but could not continue all that momentum and stalled in the final furlong. NOYZEE GIRL broke in at the start, had a good forward position watching the embattled duo while drafting on the fence, shifted out in the two path while on hold lacking running room behind the leaders at the quarter pole, angled to the rail with a chance at the top of the lane but had no finish to give running down the stretch. LILLZ STAR was bumped outside on the break, travelled in mid-pack inside in the early going, crept closer when roused in midturn, was pushed out by the inside rival to be widest in the eight path turning for home and had no rally outside horses to the wire. HATRIXIE MOMENT settled in mid-division on the outside of another in the backstretch, was going the wrong way while three wide on the turn, shifted to the four path entering the stretch but could not get into contention running down the lane. HOLYMOLYMEOHMY stalked between rivals near the rear along the backside, was checked slightly at the nine sixteenths marker to trail the field on the runners through the turn, shifted from the five path in upper stretch to the rail for the drive but could not factor in the late stages.
