Chart notes
FOND FAREWELL had a slow start, chased in the two path, was ridden along the inside around the turn, angled out to the five path passing the eighth pole, and rallied past inner foes in the final furlong. MONTEREY BAY stalked in the three path, bid in the four path turning into the stretch, and ran on. TAP ME A SONG set the pace inside, was cued midway around the turn, dug in from the two path down the lane, but was caught by an outer pair in the final sixteenth. SHADOW COAST prompted the pace inside but finished evenly from the three path in the stretch. GLOBAL PROSPERITY raced in midpack along the inside, angled out passing the quarter, swung from the six path into the lane, and mildly gained. RIPPED raced up close in the two path, was driven around the turn, but faded in the four path down the stretch. SHIP SHIP HOORAY raced off the pace in the three path, angled out to the five path turning into the stretch, but made no impact. EDIFICE rated in the three path, swung out to the seven path turning into the lane, but was no factor. WHITE WHALE tracked, was driven in the four path around the turn, floated out to the seven path at the top of the stretch, but weakened. THE REINBOW FACTOR had a slow start and always trailed.
