Chart notes
SAWTOOTH BOW disputed the pace while racing four-wide, took the lead entering the stretch and gradually edged clear. THATWOULDBEWRONG dueled with EMPIRE WARRIOR while two-wide, was carried out nearing the three-eighths pole by that one steadying off the heels of SAWTOOTH BOW, then angled in when clear nearing the five-sixteenths pole and finished strongly. CHASIN A DOLLAR was unhurried early, callied five-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. ARNIE BOY saved ground tracking the pace, slipped through nearing the three-eighths pole when EMPIRE WARRIOR drifted out, gained a slight ;lead nearing the quarter pole and then flattened out during the drive. JUST GOTTA SHINE was allowed to settle, came four-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. EMPIRE WARRIOR dueled for the early lead with THATWOULDBEWRONG from the inside, drifted out carrying that rival out nearing the three-eighths pole and tired. DR TOMMY showed speed for a quarter mile while three-wide and gave way. THE JOCKEY OF THATWOULDBEWRONG LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST SAWTOOTH BOW, BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FINISH.
