Chart notes
MISTY DANCER took control early and moved inside, led uncontested through the turn, drew off when roused in upper stretch, asked twice with the right hand and widened while ridden out in deep stretch. C HER BEAUTY chased outside rivals up the backstretch, went two then three wide around the bend and bested the rest. LOCHMARA was closest in pursuit two wide into the turn, asked left handed past the quarter pole and weakened in the drive. BLUE BREEZE stalked the lone leader from inside, came under a ride on the turn and faded. HULA PRANCER stumbled leaving the gate, had to take up when LOCHMARA crossed in front early, traveled a bit off the rail early on the turn, moved out to the three path shortly after and was never a factor. SWEET ELLA RAE threw her head, hit the gate, then came in at the start, trailed on the inside to the stretch and was never involved. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REGARDING THE START OF SWEET ELLA RAE AND RULED THAT SHE CAUSED HER OWN PROBLEMS LEAVING THE GATE AND IS CONSIDERED A STARTER.
