DAY TRIPPER saved ground setting the pace, responded when asked entering the stretch and maintained a safe advantage. STONEMONT REUNION was reserved off the pace, moved up three-wide nearing the quarter pole, offered a bid entering the stretch but was unable to reach the winner in a steady effort. COUNT FROST was four-wide on the first turn then was unhurried, came three-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. JOE FROM KIEV prompted DAY TRIPPER while racing two-wide for five furlongs and tired. LEGAL TITAN saved ground while being allowed to settle and gave way after five furlongs.
