Chart notes
HE'S LATE AGAIN settled just off the pace set by SAME PLAY, always traveling well, moved to take command approaching the quarter pole, took the lead at the top of the stretch and closed the deal under a strong hand ride. SIPPIN ON GIN settled in the middle of the pack, was being coaxed along down the backstretch, advanced into contention through the far turn, came three wide into the stretch and finished up well but could not get to the winner. SAME PLAY assumed the lead on the first turn, then tried to slow down the pace with a couple of rivals keeping close attendance on the outside down the backstretch, held sway through the far turn then tried to fight back a challenge at the top of the stretch and kept on well but weakened in the final furlong. STAR ROCK STAR tracked close up behind the leading pair, made a mild three wide move on the far turn under a drive then went flat late and could not threaten. UNINSPIRED ducked out sharply at the start then was held up at the back of the pack, went three wide on the far turn and lacked a finish. CLEARLY MAJESTIC lunged at the start then steadied when UNINSPIRED came over at the start, raced two wide near the back, came under a drive mid-way on the far turn but did not respond.
