Chart notes
GRAND JEFE stalked from off the rail but inside a foe, was mostly three to four wide advancing late on the turn, challenged in upper stretch, drew clear through the final furlong. ENDRICK got away well, settled into stride outside content to press then prompt the pace, took the lead at the seven-sixteenths, led them into upper stretch now challenged by a new foe, was no match for that one but preserved the place. AMBUSHED lacked early speed while kept wide, came into upper stretch six wide, gained late outside. HAPPYFLYER moved forward to soon take the lead, set a pressured pace inside, was overtaken entering the turn, weakened through the stretch. TITAN broke a step slowly while tossing the head, settled off the pace outside kept wide, came into upper stretch four to five deep, failed to menace. ZAINO broke just a step slowly, settled at the back inside, was never near enough to threaten. VINDICATED TIGER was forwardly-positioned between runners early up close to the lead, began to drop back and was encouraged along outside the seven-sixteenths but steadily retreated.
