Chart notes
EMILY'S ON FIRE led along the inside, repelled a challenge near the quarter pole and edged off driving. SUNNY SIDE UP stalked the pace three wide, bid on the turn then proved easily second best. SISTER EVE flashed speed in the two path and raced evenly late. K D KAKES lacked speed five wide down the backstretch and was never involved. BROOKLYN HEIGHTS prompted the pace initial quarter mile and faltered on the turn. LUCKY OPPORTUNITY urged close up inside then was finished early. BUCCHANERA lunged at the start, rushed up inside and stopped. The stewards conducted an inquiry into the start of the race.
