PATCH ADAMS was hustled from the gate, stalked the pace on the outside, chased under urging near the nine-sixteenths pole then dropped back some, pursued the leader in the four path on the turn, gained near the quarter-pole then made an outside bid in upper stretch, took the lead into the final furlong and drew clear late under steady urging. MADAKET ROAD stumbled at the start then brushed with a foe, established a good position just off the pace, moved out near the nine-sixteenths pole then tracked on the outside, vied in the three then two path on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole then made a bid in upper stretch, battled with the winner under a drive into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while clear for the place. BIG TRUZZ brushed with a foe at the start, was taken in hand early then reserved off the pace while near the wettest part of the track, saved ground while roused on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, held a reasonable striking position into the final furlong but lacked the needed kick while just up for the show. CITIZEN BULL bumped with a rival at the start, was coaxed along just off the pace, dropped back near the nine-sixteenths pole, chased in the four path on the turn, pursued the leaders under a drive into the final furlong and weakened then just missed the show. T KRAFT bumped with a rival at the start, angled in entering the main-track, was well placed just off the pace, saved ground on the turn, moved to the two path near the three-sixteenths pole, chased into the final furlong and also weakened. GATE TO WIRE settled on the outside, moved from the four path to the six path while roused on the turn and failed to threaten. MACHO MUSIC was hustled to the front, showed the way down the backstretch, raced inside on the turn, was given his cue near the quarter-pole, lost the advantage in upper stretch and gave way. CHANCER MCPATRICK settled towards the rear, was roused in the three path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path then moved out, brushed with NEOEQUOS a few times outside the furlong marker and failed to rally. NEOEQUOS raced just off the early pace on the outside, dropped back under urging near the nine-sixteenths pole, moved from the six path to the five path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, brushed with CHANCER MCPATRICK a few times outside the furlong marker and lacked the needed response. GUNMETAL hit the outside of the gate at the start and was last away, settled in the back half of the field, was roused in the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the three path and failed to threaten.
