Chart notes
MIDNIGHT COUNCIL allowed to settle, advanced steadily three then four wide into the stretch, drifted to the middle of the racetrack, made the lead late under left handed urging and edged clear. VIVA VICTORY stalked the early pace, rallied three wide into the stretch, gained a narrow lead before the furlong marker then couldn't handle the winner. COWBOY JUSTICE never far back, finished with good courage in the six path. C C'S CLEAR CREEK set a pressured pace along the inside to the quarter pole then was outfinished. NET WORTH failed to menace. REASON TO BELIEVE broke slowly, swung wide and closed a gap late in the middle of the racetrack. BREEZE THE BAYOU pressed the pace two wide into the turn, gained a narrow lead briefly at the quarter pole then came up empty. GRAND BEY close up along the inside, weakened in the stretch.
