Chart notes
BORDER CZAR was in a bit tight at the start, thereupon urged but lacked early speed, soon enough began to advance inside runners up the backstretch, moved out on the turn fanning six wide into upper stretch, drifted in through the lane, gained late to just get up. SIPPING HISTORY bumped with a rival at the start, moved forward to soon take the lead, set a pressured pace inside, was headed briefly about midway on the turn, retook the lead, kicked clear by upper stretch, was caught late. KINZIE GIRL tracked up close inside saving ground, came out at the eighth pole, kept on but was only best of the rest. SEEKING MAGIC moved forward settling outside a foe in the second flight in pursuit of the leading pair, went two to three wide on the turn, angled five wide into upper stretch, had no late rally. DAOU pressed the early pace, contested the lead putting a short head in front briefly midway on the turn, faltered and faded. LADY VIRAGO broke a bit awkwardly and bumped with a rival, chased ever so briefly but soon dropped back readily to the back between foes, continued off the rail toward the rear, failed to rally. STORM ROYALE was outside at the rear and never a factor.
