Chart notes
PACIFIC THEATER set a pressured pace, inched away on the turn and held well under urging. TOUCH OF ZEN raced in the second flight three across, rallied outside on the turn, closed steadily and got up late for place. HAY MOON pressed the pace between horses, dropped back on the turn, continued willingly to the wire, couldn't gain ground and was caught for place. LEVIATHAN AXE raced in the second flight along the inside, bid along the rail on the turn, was in range and lacked a closing response. WHISKEY WITH YOU raced in the second flight between horses, avoided a fallen rival on the turn, was eased and walked off. CLEAR THE COAST clipped heels on the turn, fell, lost his rider and walked off. Following a stewards' inquiry, TOUCH OF ZEN was disqualified and unplaced for causing interference on the far turn.
