Chart notes
KILWIN tracked three wide, crept closer while well in hand turning for home, loomed a danger while bidding outside of the leader in upper stretch, forged an advantage at the furlong grounds and inched clear. VODKA WITH A TWIST showed the way along the inside, shrugged off an outer presser nearing the lane before meeting the eventual winner's challenge in upper stretch, dug in, but was headed at the furlong grounds and was bested while pulling away from the rest. EVANESCENCE pursued off of the pace in the four path, then in the two to three path around the turn before moving back to the four path into the lane, but only offered a mild kick, edged show passing the sixteenth pole and was no match for the top pair. ECLATANT stalked along the inside, came under urging nearing the five sixteenths pole, took aim outside of the leader as a wider rival bid entering upper stretch, but lacked progress while tipping out at the three sixteenths marker, gave way and yielded show with a sixteenth to go. BOURBON MEMORY pressed two wide, was coaxed along to sustain pressure between rivals around the turn then weakened nearing the lane. MISS MARTINI trailed along the inside and got outrun.
