Chart notes
ENGLISH PAINTER stalked close up three wide, bid three wide entering the far turn, took charge at the quarter pole, pulled away and cruised home in hand. INBOUND pulled close up on the inside, steadied on the first turn, then tracked inside, chased inside on the far turn, angled out in the stretch and rallied for second. ARAK set the pace in the two path on the first turn, then dropped over to the rail, dueled briefly with the winner on the far turn, dug in and lost second. BALANTYNE raced four wide early, settled off the pace, three wide at the half mile marker, came four wide into the stretch and gained mildly outside. TUNE IN stalked close up two wide, chased on the far turn and faded.
