Chart notes
LUCCHESI broke alertly and vied outside, took over at the top of the stretch and drew away in a brisk hand ride. CHINESEIAM stalked the pacesetters outside and continued well to secure the place. MY KID SYD broke very slowly, steadied losing action briefly near half mile pole, raced far back then gained along the inside. I CAN DO MAGIC raced three wide off the leaders, moved closer on the then flattened out. SMOKEY PLACES led under pressure inside for half mile and gave way in the stretch. CARNABY broke awkwardly and raced far back throughout.
