TOMS PROSPECTOR pressed the pace leaving the first turn, advanced to engage WAGON POWER for the lead mid-way up the backstretch, vied between rivals around the far turn, continued to battle inside of HELADO into the final furlong, dug in gamely under pressure, took a slim lead, held firm and edged away. HELADO was forwardly placed around the first turn, engaged three deep for the lead mid-way up the backstretch, battled outside of TOMS PROSPECTOR into the stretch run, failed to kick on with eventual winner at the sixteenth pole and settled for second best. WAGON POWER came away last then steadily advanced along the inside to take the lead around the first turn, quickly came under pressure and dueled inside of duo mid-way up the backstretch, battled back along the rail around the final turn, could not match strides past the furlong marker but kept on and held show. DUSAN bumped with foe at the start then tugged while keen around the first turn, continued to pull wanting to do more while trying to rate off the top trio, settled near the mid-way point up the backstretch, coaxed four wide late on the far turn, continued to hustle along into the upper stretch and had no kick. RED KINGDOM got bumped back at the start, continued unhurried in the back, was ridden along tow to three wide into the stretch and failed to threaten.
