Chart notes
TIME TO SING was away in good order and stalked the pacesetter in the opening quarter, let out a notch and steadily advanced along the rail to engage CASH'S PAL for the lead with three furlongs left to run, matched strides while still unasked past the quarter pole, shook free from rival leaving the turn, cut the corner turning for home, tapped right handed, responded willingly, widened to a clear advantage, tapped a couple more times right handed, stayed inside, continued to pull away and was ridden out in the final sixteenth. CASH'S PAL broke sharp, quickly cleared command and angled in a few paths, led the way up the backstretch, took on the inside challenge of TIME TO SING with three furlongs left to run, vied outside of rival then failed to move on with winner leaving the turn, ran on two wide under steady urging down the lane and finished clearly second best. CAUSE I'M ROLLIN was allowed to settle out of the gate and raced in the back, saved ground then came under a ride along the inside around the turn, sustained a steady bid through the lane and prevailed for a share. MULTIFACTOR raced in contention tracking the top pair in the opening quarter, weakened when called upon around the turn and offered no late run. PALACE ROCK raced two wide off the top trio up the backstretch, failed to respond under a ride and steadily weakened. WILY WADE raced off the early pace, was ridden three wide around the turn and never threatened.
