Chart notes
BERNIN HOT showed the way near the inside, drew clear entering the lane and lasted safely. BOURBON RESOLVE tracked from midpack along the inside, shifted out to the four path at the five sixteenths pole, rallied to close in on the clear leader in the late stages but needed more to reel them in. DEAN MARTINI bobbled slightly at the start, lacked speed near the inside, shifted out to the five path entering the lane and stayed on willingly to gain show at the wire. TRIDENT HIT tracked from the three path, crept into striking range around the far turn, but failed to keep pace with the clearing leader entering the lane, yielded and lost show at the wire. CAROLO RAPIDO broke slow, raced at the rear in the three path then moved up. MANTA REY raced off of the pace in the four path around both turns, fanned out to the six path into the lane and failed to factor. GREAT ESCAPE stalked outside of the leader, chased into the far turn and faded turning for home.
